‘’This event is the world’s largest annual celebration of Irish music, language, song, and dance. It attracts in the region of 500,000 visitors to the host town every year. The announcement was received with excitement and jubilation by Comhaltas people and lovers of traditional culture in Co. Westmeath.

The event is organized by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and will be hosted in Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland’’.

Music lovers and tin whistlers, from beginners to more advanced players, should visit Mullingar town from the 31^st of July to the 7^th of August 2022. There will be live music events, competition’s, family fun and entertainment with food.

It is expected that 500,000 visitors will attend the festival this year celebrating Irish music, language, song, and dance.
